Mission Statement
Soaring for Souls exists to reach lost souls, focusing primarily on the remote areas of the world, and to train Christians to be better soul winners. We do this through the following projects:
American Missions
A major focus on this Lord's work is to ensure the church in the United States remains a strong force for God's Kingdom. We help congregations throughout the U.S. in evangelism training, campaign work, material distribution, personal Bible studies, and gospel meetings.
Canada Missions
In our neighboring nation to the north congregations of the Lord's church are very sparse. The initial focus is the remote coastal town of Prince Rupert, BC, located just south of Alaska. The relatively close location, no language barrier, and the great opportunities to reach even more remote areas of this region make it an ideal location for us to make a difference.
Caribbean Missions
While the Caribbean islands are known as beautiful tourist destinations, there are also many lost souls living in these neighboring islands. The primary focus is to travel by single engine airplane to encourage and strengthen existing congregations, while also helping to establish new congregations throughout these islands. Our latest work has been with churches in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos.
Disaster Response Assistance
Soaring for Souls has partnered with the Churches of Christ Disaster Response Team (DRT), a work serving people throughout the United States for over 20 years. DRT’s mission is to immediately aid in recruiting and receiving volunteers in order to assist with the needs of disaster victims. We help by using volunteer pilots who take aerial video of these disaster areas. This footage helps to drastically reduce the time it takes to begin sending assistance to those areas that need it the most.
